I read something similar, but I think the main gist was to leave the eels in the trunk of your significant others car. Did I get that wrong??

Seriously, freezing and refreezing works well. I keep them in a Tupperware tub w/water/ice
It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.

No, you guys have it all wrong. You're supposed to leave the eels in fishbones car.
