Was watching the news last night about this.....at that point they were searching for the guy. Was pleasantly surprised when I woke up this morning to see they found him ALIVE. Excellent job by the search crews....unbelievable.

For the guys who have been here awhile...you know who's boat that looks like? Same dude who got tipped over by a rogue wave on Frenchmans a few years ago. Had about $80K worth of gear onboard including Rolex watches and cologne. No name needed if you remember.

No boat, back in the suds.

Wonder if he had 3 sets of camping gear with tents on there this time.

Different name in the Channel 10 report, so it's not the same person.

Was fishing at midnight and kept hearing the coast guard panpan calls regarding a boat washing up at a high rate of speed. They were still searching for the operator

I guess he just treaded water next to his boat or in the vicinity, and never left the area until help arrived. I guess he was there for 3 hrs. At least this was the story i heard at the OM...

The boat was on the beach right in front of one of my GH customers. I watched them pull it off and tow it away. did not look like it was damaged hardly at all. That was about 10AM.

Thank God the operator was found alive. That is good news!

Be encouraging, not discouraging

If it was the same guy as the 10 van staals, and 8 ZB's, I cant imagine the life this thread would have gained.

Thank God the guys is ok

I thought twice about posting up that the name was different.

The entertainment potential of this thread was quite high...
