i simply went around on rainy mornings when the slugs were out in full force
and sprinkled some regular table salt on them
and slowly but surely i WON the WAR.....

Another good control is to lay down a piece of plywood
which they will take refuge under during the night. Then lift and use the old
salt shaker in the morning.
