I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who dressed up for a baby birthin'. On the other hand I never heard of anyone doing what I did for our first one. I was a COBOL programmer at the time and in great detail, I flow charted every step of the labor and birth process and taped it on the hospital wall. Even the doctor was impressed I had captured it flawlessly.

I hate to hijack Mikey's thread, but GEEK! I walked out on a COBOL class in 1989 and never looked back...


Until, I started working in software for a living 22 years later.
