My buddy picked up a Masterlure Straight Eel the other day at a yard sale ( big $$..$1.00) It's approx 8", was it any good and worth duping??

I built some and fished them a bit. I was not too impressed but didn't give them the chance they probably deserved. I did get one middling bass so they have some potential. Habs also made a loose copy and I think someone, Luds perhaps, had success with it |

i got a 38 lb fish on a black habs stix, just a few days before john passed. it was the only one I had and I haven't fished it since. fish hit on only my second cast with the plug. didn't get another hit on it. dumb luck. |
