Rescue at sea!
Saw this beast tangled up in some lobster line and went in for the rescue. Wrapped around its neck and body i think it wouldnt of made it through the night. Great job by crew and fellow member stiff tip. This beauty will live many more years.

great job and for going out of your way to release this turtle.
Just caution others there are rules for interacting with endangered species and there are rapid response teams in the area that can be notified to perform the entanglement removal.

good job fatcow! Never leave for others what you can do for yourself. If it's simple and won't in anyway harm the animal(or you) I say go for it.

A beast, indeed.
Anything that looks large through the lens of a camera phone is usually rather big in person.
Nice rescue.

Great going guys. Although you should have thrown Dave in to ride it for the movie. I did same thing b, lobster pot line, by myself 10 years ago but I was in 14' tin boat and it almost flipped me over but I got line cut. Thing was a big as a kitchen table.
Saw lots of a smaller species this week when i was albie fishing on south side there were also lots of big jellyfish that I assume they were targeting for food. Very cool animal.
