here is a black over orange (lobstah) 2 OZ darter made to resemble the original Musso 2 OZ wood model... Numbskull has perfected this design... incredible plug

Tasty, tasty, tasty.

I use mine with 2/0 trebles even though it will swim with 3/0's. I've not tried a siwash. I like the weight closer to 1.5-1.6 oz. The example I copied must have been a light one (the intended weight was 2 oz) but they have fished so well I did not change. I have taken most of my night fish over the last 2 years with this plug including several in the high 20# range. Casts very well, even with a big rod. Mine have been made from basswood, but they cut up from hook swing very quickly.
