pulaski trip
got up there sunday evening and met up w/ the guys. we were on the river at first light and there were fish everwhere - big fish, pretty fish, ugly fish, dead fish, zombie fish, huge fish. this was my first time with a flyrod and it took a bit of getting used to but after a while i got it down. what a great place - cant wait to go back, and catch a steelhead

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

The fishing has been very, very, very good this year, as evidenced by one of my high school classmates from back home (PA) on facebook. Got to get up there one of these years...

Nice job guys. A buddy of mine also recently made the trip and did very well.
Doesn't even look crowded where you are. I've heard some places up there make the canal seem serene.

it wasnt too bad where we were but busier than the pix would make you think. drove past some spots with easy access that were elbow to elbow. people were pretty well mannered for the most part. some guy got pissy when a steelhead snuck around victor and was lost - steelhead seem to get these guys pretty excited. they are a truely beautiful fish. it was amazing to be sight fishing for these big fish and watch them make a move at the last second to avoid the leader time after time . need to go for a few days next year. hopefully my knuckles heal up by then, damn flyreels

Great Paul. Good for you. I'd love to go. I went in 86 so it's 26 years for me. Let me know the next time you make the run. I'll drive.
