RM goes down! Again

I run an intramural after school Basketball program. Got kicked in the achilles last night. In the hospital until 11:00 PM. They think it's torn/ruptured. Won't know until I get an MRI later in the week. I guess the fish are safe for a little while.

That's why I stay away from physical activity and/or sports!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Been there, done that........awful until they fix it, after that just a major PIA.
Probably you didn't get kicked. It is classic for it to feel like you did when the tendon lets go.

Your wife must be thrilled.

Mmm...yep. He said that he had no doubts that he'd be ice fishing in a spiked boot, if need be, BEFORE the FiABBIT.

GEt well soon. On the bright side, the cold of FiABBIT might be good for any lingering pain.

Everything is better on the rocks.

My boss thought I was crazy when I showed up for work. I'm a bunch more Black and blue this afternoon though. If I can work, I can fish. I'll tell you this. If you ever have had an injury that is gonna put you out for a while, you know right away. It's a feeling that is much different than you have ever experienced. Endorphins and mighty morphins kick in right away to ease the pain. Flexibility is the biggest indicator though. You try and move, and right away your body says "no no". The worst is I can't carry Kerry.
