I have always thought the no bananas thing to be a crock...... Still do. But I will respect it on others' boats. trips, etc. Never been a problem on my boat. Just saying.......

I wont even eat them if I'm going fishing.... I never did.. just out of caution... last February I had one on the way to Winnipesauki..... an hour later I fell and tore my MCL...I wont even mention the fruit if I'm going fishing now...

I MUST have a mediuim black hazelnut D.D coffee for any weeknight Bass fishing trip to be a succss.. it must be bought @ the DD at the rotary in Newburyport or all bets are off...Weekends a thermous must be in tow... no coffee.. no fishies.

If I happen to hear Blinded by the light...long version in it's entirety by Manfred man.... on my way to the boat.. the night will be a slammer... it's never failed me yet...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

My 10 year old daughter gives me a big good luck fishing hug before I head out for the night.

Doesn't always work, but when it does her smile the next morning after I thank her for the good fishing is priceless.

Some say that there's a fine line between a Surfcaster and some idiot just standing on the beach.
