The Beckett book is what a dealer will sell a card to you for, but turn around and go to another dealer and see what he'll give you for the same card. If your luck you'll get a dollar or a card you just paid a sawbuck for.

Ebay is the only way to sell cards.

If your buying still only buy cards that were printed before the explosion/proliferation/over production taht occured in the 80's. Rookie cards only. Maybe early 70's and back only. Single cards only. As I was typing this I went and retirved from bureau a book of rookie cards only that has the clear plastic card holders inside of it. The firs 26 cards are all Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards. The first nine are Upper Deck. The are worth more than what I bought them for but now much. All the cards in this book (probably 125 or so) are the rookie cards I had left over after making full-sets of the same brand and year.

Look at what a 84 update Topps Clemmons is worth. Ten years ago you probably could not buy one for $400.00.

I havn't bought a Beckett in years, but if I decide to sell I have to have one.

Well, it seems like a losing battle. Might just box them up and see if the little guy wants them in 15 years. Thanks for the responses!

Is it the one with no name on it?? I remember everyone and their mother was trying to get one of those.

The 1990 score card? They were the only company to make one if i remember correctly. Upper deck didn't make one that year.

Or the Topps error card?
