Didn't fish as much as I would have liked with the new job, but can't complain as it's nice to have the stability. Had a some good days including a personal best largemouth and what was probably a personal best striper that both went back swimming after a couple pictures. And had a bunch of great days plugging to top it off.

Vacationing in Truro in June, took my 5 year-old on a charter out of Ptown on Fathers Day (Beth Ann Charters, Capt Rich was the nicest kid-friendly captain I have ever met). Got my son 2 keepers in a short time, he thinks it's always that easy. Kept the fish for the grill, he felt like a real hunter-gatherer, had the smile burned into his face for a month.
2 days later, did a lobster boat cruise, we had a blast watching the captain haul his pots and show us his diverse catch (lobsters, crabs, sand dollars, a few cod). My son wouldn't hold a lobster without heavy gloves.
