I have a blue Ti Luminox Divers watch that I wear every day. It is my second one. I love it. Rugged and dependable. Awesome view at night. It is almost too bright. When I am bass fishing I actually keep it covered. For 100 bucks it is a good deal.
I always use a velcro band..quick and easy and inexpensive. I only take it off when I wear a suit because it is a little bulky for my dress shirt.
FOR TIDES....I have 3 analog tide clocks on the wall in my kitchen right above a framed chart of my nearby waters. I can sit at dinner and look up and think about where I want to go while every one else is gabbing about some other land-based nonsense.
