My older Olympus died in my raincoat pocket.
The service dept said I should have been sending it in for seal maintenance...... didn't see that in the manual.
That said I'll probably get another one with the 2.0 lens. ( good reviews)
Fishing is expensive no matter what I do.

Still like the fuji they have at costco. Short money and water/shock/dust proof.Kids use in the pool underwater and it can be buried in sand.I would tell any parent to grab one because with the fancy cameras theysell usually have to be put away in those conditions and they are missing the best shots.

I hope your elbow is improving Paul and I am anxious to put a beacon on your new ride.

I have Olympus stylus tough 3000, 12 mp, 5ft shockproof, 10ft waterproof, and think its a great camera! I have dropped it, and got it wet, but not under water as is says it can go. 2 years now and, has taken tons of great pic's.
