They move in a swarm, all or none!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Lost power friday night at 1130pm & came back on Sunday night at 830pm. Yesterday morning was the coldest, inside house temp dipped down to 32 degrees!!
Drove down to Chatham and picked up a spare generator from my cousin and my neighbor wired directly to my burner. Within a few hrs I had the house temp back up into the 60s. Was very worried about my water pipes.
Still have friends in town w/o power right now, sucks.

Mike, buy a generator. I bought a Generac, auto start wired right into the house. The whole house is on it complete with the well, furnace and all the rooms. I also have 2 wood stoves. I no longer am at the mercy of anyone. BTW, I have 25 gallons of gas as a backup for the generator and snow blowers. 15 gallons of diesel for the front loader and 2 cords of wood in the garage for the wood stoves. Another 5 cords stacked under tarpaulins.

Paul - you are certainly prepared!! After these past few days, I'll be buying a generator soon.
