During Katrina, most civil rights were stripped away. Illegal state-sanctioned confiscation of weapons took place and then the only people left with their weapons (law enforcement) were also the ones killing innocent people on bridges and in their homes.

A little kid ran out to hug his dad and when he ran back he was blown up.

Agreed. Politics and rhetoric should be set aside for at least 48 hours post incident. All this bull#^&#^&#^&#^& gun drama accomplishes nothing but creating more hard feelings.
Lets keep it where it belongs......the scuppers or political forum.
