we jigged up a couple of limits on Sunday, and I have never seen so many worms in the filets, seems to get worse every year.

What's worse than finding a worm in you piece of fried cod?.............

Finding 1/2 a worm in your piece of fried cod !

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

Living for a time in an Asian community, supposedly the Ginger and Wasabi have properties that kill off any parasites that may remain in the food (besides providing the much needed warmth so your stomach doesn't cramp up on the coldness). That being said, it isn't an end all be all, you can still get parasites from it and basically you just need to go to a trusty place.

Should be of note that Garlic does a hell of a job killing parasites to where if the person isn't eating a few cloves a day (not sure of the frequency for people that have a parasite), they are given an herbal formula where Garlic is one of the main ingredients to kill the parasite. I'm not saying just start cramming your mouth with Garlic but its good to know..

I remember hearing that hunters have to wait for a certain time after winter I think before they hunt rabbits and deer because they have worms that eventually die off in the warmer weather.

Still glad I avoid Cod!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
