RE:What do you hate the most to see, while fishing at night??

Lightning

A line of Lunker Lights stretched across the hole I wanted to throw an eel into.

A truck lit up like a Christmas tree approaching the break in the dunes from the back trail to the front beach.

A pair of eyes reflecting my flashlight beam when I'm walking a dark trail to the water at the Canal or the Vineyard.

Yo-yos who sneak up on you and say "Hey, catching anything??" at the top of their lungs when you least expect it.

2" stubs where a live eel writhed 30 seconds before.

A bluefish attached to all 3 treble hooks of a plug.

As far as skunks go, seeing them near the water is a good thing a lot of times--sometimes it means that bait just got driven up by a school of fish--that's how some of the old-times on the Vineyard found fish at night, looking for skunks eating sand eels at the water line. But these days, often it just means that some slob left a pile of garbage behind <img src="/Images/Sad.gif"><!--e2-->
