i was thinking the same thing to get a little more range (range eats it right now) but not so much for the radiation... who knew?? that explains the buldge protruding from the right side of my head.

the grab rail seems to be a bit wider in diameter than standard or else i would buy a rail mount... just cant seem to find one that fits.

awsome job, spent last saturday installing my new Northstar not as intense as your project but very time consuming.
