Was up a couple days ago working on the 08 calendar of the Elizabeth's and on the way out took a shot of the cut on MV. It was a hazy day will have to go again after a solid cold front passes thru and it is clear.

I know they have taken measurments, it has gotten wider. One minor storm a few weeks ago they lost 50' of beach and the rescue surfboard they keep on the chappy side.

I walked out to it from the norton point side its a good pretty decent walk. WInch and I walked out to it barefoot the walk isnt that far really
I dont know about diving it Ben that mf'er was crankin' when we were out there.

yea i see it all the time when i take my flying lessons out of katama, its amazing how its a real channel, and the current that goes through there is so strong.

I was offshore this morning and tried to take my boat thru there. Although it was calm the gentle swell was about 3-4' and it would break across the opening. I saw a way to zig zag in but as I got in after the first zig it got really shallow. IMO this is not the best navigabile channel. I ended up driving around Poge....call me chicken (I just didn't want to run aground there)
