Guys have been doing that at the fresh water side of Nanaquacket in Tiverton for a few days. Granted it's not that deep but I think they're nuts. That ice ain't that thick and there's all salt water underneath.

many moons ago, the bay froze up so hard that people moved houses across it.. no kidding. Saltwater ice can be strong.

It was so cold in Maine this past weekend that my eyelids were trying to freeze together everytime I blinked while riding. It was so cold it was snowing without any snow clouds. The moisture in the air was freazing. That is a cool site.

and the ice cream was in
the bottom part of the refrigerator
where i stupidly left it last night
in a sleepy hurry.......after LOST
Crap i thought - as it was brand new

it was not melted at all !
