Lost over 30 eels to choppers this morning... pain in the ass, most of them were over 15 lbs, just not what I was looking for!!

30 eels?

When I go to the canal for the night, I get about a dozen. If I lose a few in quick succession, I switch over to single-hook plugs. IMO, Why waste the time and money?

had a ton of eels, was commercially fishing... hit the stripers big time after that... it was worth it

I don't fish eels, but 30 seems like a lot of bait to waste. Why not switch to plugs?
