I believe I read that 90% of the shrimp you buy at the store are imported mostly from Vietnam.

I very rarely get shrimp at restaurants for the same reason. Unless they state that its wild gulf shrimp and i trust the place. That is even along shot.

Everything is better on the rocks.

That's what I was told any way.

Many reasons to ask for and demand fresh-local fish.
There are many places, like Red's Best, right on the fish pier in Boston, that will sell direct to the consumer and even ship it to your door.
