I am very sorry for your loss. Having lost my dad around the same time last year I know how tough the holidays can be. It helped me to remember and talk about the good times I had with him. You and your family will be in my prayers this holiday season.

Sorry for your loss. Remember the good times, especially those special family moments you had with your Dad.

Goosefish,
I am very sorry to hear of the death of your dad. That's hard. We don't know eachother, but your post sort of got to me. I work in an ICU in a big, urban hospital, and unfortunately we see patients die. I am not sure why, but it seems comforting to me to know someone has not died alone. I have placed my palm on a dying patient's forehead, just to let them know there is another, caring human presence. I have no idea if it's helpful for them, maybe it just helps me. Under those frightening circumstances of a car wreck, it's amazing that a stranger was able to do that.
Maybe it will help to know that there's folks thinking about you and your mom right now.
Peace

My condolences, thoughts and prayers. It always amazes me how fleeting life is and how much we take it for granted.

Sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I know how tough it is to lose a close family member, I lost my father this time a year a few years back to a battle with cancer..
I can tell ya that the photo collage suggestion might help ya out, go through some photos and remember the times you both spent together. It helped me out a great deal.He will live on through your memories.
My condolences

Sorry about your Dad.
As hard as it may be right now, try to take solace in the fact that you had a wonderful relationship with him.
