First band hit in woods hole around 8:30- started sticking at 10:30, we closed the lab at noon. Was 35 in truck, snowing like crazy. Got into Falmouth to pick little guy up at daycare, was 33. It's still snowing at the house, grounds covered.

Bad start here. The first few hours of light snow is sticking to every tree branch. That means the stuff will continue to those branches . I think come midnight or so the branches will be very heavy with snow when the wind gets cranking and that means power outages. We will see what happens.

Just tried shoveling the walk way. Stuff is like cement. Sticking to everything here too. Hope the snowblower will move it. Be careful of a heart attack any old bastards. Can't see the power staying on if it comes in like it is suppose to.

It's so sticky it's covering 360 deg around the nearly horizontal awning poles. Like corn dogs...I've never seen that before.

Al Gore should see this. So much for global warming. Gov. Patrick says we can't drive on the streets of the Commonwealth after 4pm. Very heavy and piling up fast here. The wind is also picking up. Got plenty of Jack Daniels and Cheez-its, the two basic food groups to last for a week.

Global warming means extreme weather. Not just warmer temps.. Drought, heat waves, and nasty storms. Seems like that's what things are like lately.

Power still out, but just saw an Nstar truck out front! It's really nasty out now... Heard the top of a tree or a large branch go, thought it was going to hit the house... Everybody stay safe, think it's going to be a long night and a LOT of cleaning up...

Either there's a chit load of terminators coming in from the future, or I am watching transformers blow up, like dominoes falling. That's the 3rd one tonight, and there goes my power.

it was snowing slowly (7 inches) with not much wind here in hartford county CT up until 8 pm...

Then bang! the last 3 hours have been crazy! high winds, strong snow and wind drifts measured in feet... Dont throw out your backs or burn out your transmissions!

I can't tell how much there is? Just finished the second round of shoveling, about 8" @ 8PM, a foot right now. But with the drifting, hard to tell. Easier to keep up with it than do all of it tomorrow....

Still raging up there. And from the radar it's not over by a long shot.

Still in San Diego. Flight was bumped from Friday am to Monday pm. Family ok, we didn't lose power. I'm dreading the return though as my truck was parked on the roof of Logan parking garage. Ill be lucky to identify the thing.
