Looks perfect to me.

I have used almost the same design on many of the rods I have done, just one more (3) single trim bands on the body.

What do you use for finish?

Jon, 24' Nauset-Green Topsides, Beamie, North River. Channel 68/69. MSBA, NIBA

I use a mix of threadmaster and aftcote for finish, about a 60:40 mix (tm:aftcote). I honestly don't pay too much attention to the ratio though.
