Flutter spoons getting it Done

Had an excellent morning. Out at 0530 home by 10am. The spot looked like race point with all the boats . No real surface action . Everything I caught was on a spoon 50ft of water . The 1st was the biggest 36 in the rest were 32 34 inch and a few slots

9 inches. Heavy enough to not scope out to far while drifting or in current.

I bought some smaller flutter spoons for last season and just never got a chance to give them a good try. Something about 17 weekends of rain....
Imagine that sumbitch wanted to bite that 9 inch with a NASCAR paint job.... So, is it the motion that drives them to eat it?
Nice outing Wayne! You are a week or two ahead of us anyway. Too cold here yesterday to even consider pulling the hose out to get spring wash underway.

Went out this Am same spot same tide better weather completely different outcome . From yesterday

Lots of small bass slurping micro bait. They were tight lipped

Did manage to get a 32incher on a flutter spoon.

But I am having some concerns about the lack of schools of pogies ..in the Bay. Hopefully after all this rain and wind things will improved
