I'm Back!

Hey group, new member (kind of, former StarsnStripers)
Just an update since I was gone all this year, In february I got a 17' Boston Whaler Montauk w/ 70HP Johnson outboard.....mounted livewell, rail mount rodholders, goes about 38MPH maxed out. Fished it, and fished it well....started out the season with hundreds of bluefish. My striper count: ONLY 2 THIS YEAR!! One on live herring and one casting from boat at Sally Rock, both about 6-8#. I know this sucks, havent been targeting them a whole lot though. Only one fluke while trolling for blues....strange.....tasty tho! No tog, hundreds of Scup from Colt State Park and from Seven Bs party boat.....also quite a few keeper seabass from these party boats.....
that's basically it! learned a very lot this season, now have a wire-line outfit, heavy casting outfit, toggin outfit, deep-sea setup (working on now) light casting outfit, and surf outift (working on)
One thing I regret is losing a 25+# striper at boatside, trolling a tube and worm on wireline, and watched a HUGE striper inhale my live herring, and in excitement I set the hook (circle hook) great year though and it isn't over yet, this winter is deep sea seabass/cod, and tautog!

Well I'm going on and on. I probably missed alot here. I'll try to slow down with all the questions, I know I used to get annoying How has everyone been?

InShoreAngler, welcome to S-B again. Cut back on the caffeine man, you are going a hundred miles an hour. Sounds like a nice boat, I look forward to chatting with you frequently about the pastime commonly referred to as...."Fishing". Don'tcha just love fishing?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
