Quit your job, leave your woman, cancel your apointments, buy a 4X4 with a camper top on the back, spend 2 grand on tackle, learn to go without sleep for days, drive from NJ to cape cod fishing all the way, and then you will catch stripers.

welcome to the wonderful world of fishing, tommy...

and as some wise oldtimers would say, practice makes perfect... watch what the other oldtimers are doing and then learn to perfect it.

Message boards are an excellent source of tips and techniques.

But as far as asking for locations on where to fish, don't. Most old fogeys on this board will be quicker than Clint Eastwood on the draw about bad sites to fish.

Miss leading????? Never:
"Where'd you get those two 40 pounders?"
"Out at the Hump and the Mission Bell, didn't you get any too?"
