No guides - line runs through the blank, i've casted pretty far with this rod....can be used with either spinning or conventional reels since there is no guides. 12-30#line, MH action, 1-6oz.lure Bought it new for $135, selling for $100....OR WILLING TO TRADE FOR DAIWA SEALINE X SURF ROD which is half the price of the sealine Z!
