sfrances...Can You Come Out To Play?
Can all you guys on this site please help me coax sfrances into coming out to play! His first experience here was a little less than enjoyable and I think he was a little put off after that whole mis-understanding! Can you help me show sfrances that we are a fun loving bunch of fishing folk who like to have a good time here on the site! Come on sfrances...we are all friends here...let by gones be by gones! Isn't Philly the city of brotherly love? (I just wanna see some more of those plugs!) MrsSfrances help me out here!

Very nice paint Mrs F.
I don't think anyone would mind if that were part of the auction.
You can go to the last bidding page and throw it into the mix.

I have spent many a drunken night at Pat's, I went to college in Philly. I wish there was a place up here that knew how to make a cheesesteak. Nice needles!!!

I keep hearing about this awesome Cheesesteak. I guess on one corner of some square you have Pat's and on the other side you have some other top notch Cheesesteak!
I don't see why we can't have something like that in Rhody or Mass (Kelly's RB does not count - but a cheesesteak place).
Here in Rhody they have "New York System Wieners" - Glorified Hot Dog stands but in New York they don't know what a "New York System Wiener" is, right? They had a thing on one of the local radio shows that the NY System was invented in Rhody....
Providence has excellent Italian food, fantastic Bakery's, good Portugese food (in the Prov/FR/NB zone)...
Boston has awesome Wings - Wing It, decent americanized and good authentic Chinese Food, Marginal Mexican, Good Roast Beef with Kelly's (excellent sliders too), very good Italian in the North End ( though not as good as Federal Hill in PVD I'm told), Good Tai food, good sushi, but no stinkin' TOP DAWG Cheesesteaks - what's up with that?

I never found a decent chinese place in RI, nor real NY pizza. There were some killer Indian restaurants.
Sicilia's on Federal Hill has kick ass deep dish though

Those are indeed some nice looking plugs, I wish I had the skill to end with a finished product like that, let alone share the craft with my wife. However, as far as cheesesteaks are concerned, I've had Pat's and Delasandro's and one of my co-workers raves about a place called Chubbies, but hands down the best are my own. My Mrs is a fanatic about her cheesteaks and for years she'd get them wherever we went, then after child two came along, she wanted one we couldn't get out and so I made it myself. Since then I can't remember her eating anything but mine (cheesesteaks that is. The secret's the thin sliced, seasoned bracciole. How do I know mine are the best? Because the night I make them, with 6 9's accuracy, I get lucky. It's been requested I make a batch tonight. (Hey, I'm not stupid, if one ='s, then think what six ='s)
Will trade detailed cheesesteak recipe or overnight shipment of fresh cheesesteak hoagies for plugs or tutelage in plugmaking craft.

Krispy, I hear ya! Did anyone ever get Chinese food on Cape Cod? You don't get fried wontons, you get french fries. What's up with that?

Sure don't have to worry about me. I mainly visit here to Lurk and Learn (take off on the corporate practice of "Lunch and Learn"), but in my vast experience with the female of the species I have learned never to get on the wrong side of The Mrs...mine or anyone else's. But as for Mister SF, who is he to argue with when he's up to his cheeks in a huge, dripping mouth watering cheesteak?!
