Boot HELP

Goin' coddin' tomorrow mornin' and I need new INSULATED rubber boots. Anyone got any idea as to where I might be able to pick up a pair of LaCrosse insulated rubber boots this evenin' in the Quincy area???? I checked West Marine in Braintree, Boat US in Weymouth and they didn't have any. Monahan's is closed till monday. Any one know of any where else? Maybe Sports Authority or something along those lines? My toesies need help so they don't freeze off tomroow.

If you can't find the boots tonight then I'd get a pair of Smart Wool socks, which are sold all over the place. These socks are great.

I wear Viking boots, insulated. But some of the other guys that I work with go with non-insulated boots and the thick Smart Wool socks.

Good luck. Catch a whale cod for the crew.

Thanks for the help. I checked Wear Guard's web site and they didn't have anything listed. Gave Hilton's Tent City in Beantown a call and they got some. Gonna have to fly up there and check 'em out.

Thank you again for the advice.

Boots

Redlite,
Just wondering how the cod fishing for you today?
I was out , fighting through the pea soup fog most of the day, only got 75-80 lbs , 3 guys fishing on my boat!!! not exactly a good day and it was no better for the fleet of boats around us.
Going out again tomorrow, hopefully it will be better!
Ron

p.s. Extra tuffs, is the boots to look for, you will have to go to a commercial fishing supplier. like N.E. Industrials in Scituate Ma.

I got outta work and hauled arse downtown to Hilton's tent City. Got there and found out there was a Celts game and parking was slim to none unless I paid to park in a lot for 5 minutes. Saw a couple of vehicles parked in a loading area, so I figured "It's almost 6, and what are the chances of actually getting a ticket at this time, especially if I be brave and leave my truck running with the four ways on?". I ran in, got these real nice rubber boots with removable wool linings for 75 beans (even made in O' Canada). Run back out to the truck and guess what, a friggin $55 parking ticket for parking in a loading zone!!!!! I was ticked. Neither of the 2 vehicles in front of me that were there before me had tickets, and neither of them had commercial plates. The friggin meter lady must have been hidin in Hooters when I pulled up and got me. Gonna try and appeal it. Sad thing Is I would have been better off paying the $25 to park in the lot for 5 minutes. Would have been cheaper.
Anyhow, I ended up not going fishing. Captain BackOut.
