You think it's cold where you are? How would you like to be on the top of Mount Washington? it's only 45 below up there and the wind chill is only 127 below zero do you think any living thing could survive that? Yowza that is Bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cold!

No, I saw it on the news last night.
We only have less than an inch here thankfully, hope it stops, I hate snow.

We have about 4" here. The roads are like a hardwood floor that someone dumped a jar of talcum powder on I left for work at 6, got about 4 miles in the by 7 and turned around. Even with 4wd I was going sideways more than I was going straight.
Visibility was so bad I turned onto the sidewalk instead of the street once

I heard if your eyes are exposed for more then fifteen seconds at that temperature they will freeze. I am hoping they cancel school tomorrow. I guess you would call it a "cold day" instead of a snow day.

Raven,
I know you get it but all the metal fasteners have shrunk and they will settle when weighted. Combine that with ice keeping everything locked in and lumber that has shrunk in the 30-50% humidity and Voila, Boom
