Question new bee

Hello,
I just got me a new lathe so im thinking of making some plugs. any good tips out there im new at this. what type of primer and paint should i use?

just go to the plug forum.and start reading......talk about dumb,,we are in the plug building department

Welcome scubascapie: Use the search engine that Rob-S posted, it is the small button at top of page(search). Try putting in
" Hypnotic needle", for a first read, this is a great post. Then hunt around using search for anything you might need to know. There is a ton of info out here. Especially about finishes. Under the search options click the arrow and select the plug building option.
Don't be afraid to ask a specific question, but your question was a little too broad for any one to really answer. Again welcome aboard
