spining rod for boat
Looking for rod to fish from boat. I own two Ron Arra series rods
now, 1204, 1205. Very happy with both. I was wondering if Ron
had a line of boat rods? Any suggestions would be great. Looking
for a pluging rod.

ron arra is surf rods/blanks. i think it would be a sacrilege for him to make a boat rod/blank.
so, what exactly are you going to do w/ the boat rod? you left a very open ended question w/ hundreds of options. reel, structure, target, weights, line, waters fished, etc.?

The Certified Pro blanks are the same graphite used in the Arra's. Model #'s XC..MH and XC..H - perfect for Fluke, great for tossing polugs at Bass - but thesew are FW Flipping sticks, so you can't really expect them to be used as a meat stick because that's not what they are designed to do. I think for what you want they would work well.

I'm going to build myself another boat rod soon for plastics, my choice will likely be a Lamiglass GW84MH blank, they are durable, sensititive and come with a lifetime warranty. It's 7 foot, rated for 10-20 lb line (I'll be using 30# spiderwire), 5/8-1-1/2 oz, butt is 0.56 and it's got a 6 tip and tips the scales at only 2-3/4. I've got an old Clemens catalog, but I'd guess the blank is still around $55-$60 bucks.
Mike pm me if you can get this blank for me and how much?
