what would happen if....

you made a polaris style popper and stuck a danny lip on it??

pop and wiggle? roll? look stupid??? catch tons of fish?

I ws playing around the other day and made a lip slot in a popper and I gotta tell ya, it looks like it has promise

I drew it up last nite-u readin my mind? gonna try and make a metal lip version of a gibbs bottle swimmer-cast and swim? now u just gotta find some water to test it in

Is it good, or is it Sofa King good?

The NR is still mostly open for testing... but it's cold tying knots
Monahans is open for testing too, but I like having some current around

Thing looks like it will wiggle in current but if you slow it you looks like you'll be able to pop it.

nothing spectacularrrrrrrrrr
I made a 5" polaris body and stuck a danny lip on it and weighted it like a polaris, and a 6"polaris body with a pikie lip in it. I was testing them in slow water (inside the prov hurricane barrier, and they swam with a slow wobble-like I said-nothing spectacular-but I still gotta swim them in the river. will keep ya posted

on another note-coming back from vacation, no matter how short, sucks. spent the last three nights sleeping less than 50' away from the herring run on lagoon pond in Marthas Vineyard.
I hate that boatride home

but I did get engaged on Wasque
