Auction of Patriot Pikie to benefit S-B.com
OK, here's your chance to own one of these plugs and help out John with the costs of running the site here. Patriot logo on both sides, VMC 4/0 hooks, epoxy clear coated. I only made 4 of these.
Show your patriotism and bid high and bid often.
I was going to auction it off at the night out on the 21st but figured I'd give everyone else a chance to bid also
Auction ends at noon on Feb. 19th
let's keep it simple and bid in dollar increments only, no cents
I'll start it off at $25

John, can you shrink the picture just a tad so the screen isn't so wide ? thanks, I would but I have no clue.

My fault, no biggie though. As long as it benefits the site. Guess I'll have to sign the plug now. Sorry I couldn't get Tom Brady's signature on it, he's a little busy.

I read it as 200 also , if I signed it.
don't know where Gloucester2 is
did this fall apart?
would you guys rather do a live auction on Sat. night?
I get confused easily
Patrick, if you want the plug and your bid is still highest at noon Thursday, then you can have it. The money goes to John anyway.

Slip and others,
I agree this thing got off to a funky start. I just do not want to be involved in any controversy or be considered one of these people that ruin stuff like this. I thought the thing was going to have some participation and do not want to think I was a part of spoiling it.
In the end I a can go either way. A friend and I are bidding together and I just spoke with him/her. If you guys want to restart or do it live, it is fine with us. We ares site regulars that will be here and there on Sat so it is about the fun also.
I'll let the Moderator make the call. If the rules were broken then restart or do it live. If not...let it go until thursday....
Let's just all have fun...this winter s$#%ks enough already.

201 is high bid.
Patrick, you have done nothing wrong.
we'll end it at noon thursday, bids can increase in any amount you want. It was my fault for not being perfectly clear, sorry.

I'm back . . . a business trip got extended sorry for the confusion.
$250 . . . . I'll remove the "autograph" caveat if that is an issue for anyone - I was just trying to have some fun with this . . . it's Winter.

Bigfish, I don't care what amounts the bid increases. It was way too late for the way FWW's auction went after the first page buddy
good luck everyone
edit: BTW I notice the board is 10 min. slow so the auction will end at noon according to this site's clock, not the real time(unless ofcourse John somehow manages to synchronize it before then ). I will not be online so I feel the need to state this now.
So, the last person to post a bid before the clock on the forum says 12:00 noon tom. wins, that means 11:59 is your last chance and a tie goes to the first person posting the highest amount. John R can be the ref.
and I know you were just trying to help Bigfish
