Info Lund Boats

Looking to buy my first boat, I was hoping to get some feedback about the Lund Boat. Maybe the pros and cons. The models I will
be looking at are the 17`Angler-17`Pikie. The boat will be fished
in small bays, and rivers,(Weweantic, Westport, North). As far as the engine, the 17`Lund is rated for 40,60,90, HP. Any help with
that would be appreciated. I don't need a lot of speed.

I've got an 1890ProV with 130 Honda 4-stroke and love the boat. Sure I'd like a drier ride, but with all the varied places I fish and trailer to, from Maine to CT, I'd give up a lot by going bigger. My boat was designed with the great lakes walleye tournament guys in mind, so it's got some serious balls. I've had it out in some serious #^&#^&#^&#^& 8-10 footers and popped it up quickly with throttle to lay it down to bust through 5 inches of inch repeatedly for an hour to get to open water. A sick bastard like me deserves a boat that can take a licking and keep on ticking.
