living here in utah I will be heading up to straberry Resivoir for some trout fishing with the family. Tonight we will fish until dusk and a little later throw some chicken legs out for crawfish, word is people are catching them by bucket loads. Then of course a crawfish boil. hope the snow has melted.

I've got a day of yard work and a morning of fishing to get in, just not sure which comes first. After getting up early today and forgetting my damn sunblock...roasted GS now, think I'll fish on Sunday morning.

I might have room for one, but I want someone that can catch something other than a bunch of slimy pollack, so only real fisherman or fisherwomen need apply. Ouch FW that hurts...lol. Just kidding, that water today was probably just too damn clean, clear and those fish way to visible and you weren't ready for it. I'd love to have you again, but you did say your both tied up with clients all weekend. Tell Bill to free up some time and I can take him out, be good for him to try the trolling motor before buying.

I keep asking that guy John, you know the one that runs this site to go, but seems all the invites are passed up so I'm not sure about him . I need to check with the boss, but I'll be around the board off and on today.

Red-dawg,

I just switched machines and wiped the hard drive on my old one... unfortunately, I forgot to copy over my contact list. I don't gots your number.

Understandable with the week I'm having. I'm heading down to Cohassett tonight. I think your wife and my wife have talked and maybe made plans... I don't know what they are. Karen and I haven't communicated well the past couple of days. I saw Gwen and Liam for about 30 seconds today and it sounded as though tonight's a no go. I thought she was stopping back in, but I haven't seen her. Whatever, all I know is that I'm going fishing... I don't really care what anyone else is doing. Give me a call and let me know what your up to tonight. If you're up to fishing up this way (if you're gonna be around), that would be cool. We're going on a whale watch tomorrow morning, so I won't fish too late... maybe midnight. That's quite a bit of the drop though.

Dude, I'm just in one of those f*%$ everyone moods today... I just need to get out on the water.

I ws looking forward to fishing Nut Island with some live herring. Unfortunately I went to the charles today and no herring around. It seems the state closes the gates everyonce and a while to divert the fish to other rivers and streams. This is one of those weekends. So I guess I will dunk chunks and fish eels at the same time tonight. Tomorrow I am going out on a charter, the same guy I used last weekend, with some buddies instead of family. I still have'nt lived down the fact that my wife out fished me last weekend. Have fun everyone no matter what you are doing.

Was going to go down the cape with plenty of herring, but now that specialist told me that the gates are closed, I don't know what to do.
John, if you are reading tonight...help! Where do I get herring in the area in this type of horrible situation?
Your Pal,
Rick

Rick, maybe you could try Harwich.

This weekend is Fathers day Sunday so I will try to take the family boating. Today we are doing a yard sale. Yesterday I set up a pool for the kids. I hope to get in some fishing at some point.

And Schoolie Monster, don't read this if you're in a mood ;P

Schoolie Monster was in a mood for several reasons but primarily because he's suffering from a near terminal case of lacka-fishie, which he corrected last night by landing a MOBY KEEPER striper of about 29-30 inches in length (weighted all of 9 pounds). Your fearless leader on the other hand, caught nada, zippo, 'ole goose egg...

In an amazing turn of events, we were surrounded by swarming hordes of minatue pollack busting on bio-lumino-planktono on the surface last night. Apparently, FW's trip with GS yesterday prompted these massive schools of outfall pollock to head north into the waters more frequented by FW & BC. Unfortunately for Greg and Myself, we got stuck in the middle of this migration and all of the 30 pounder bass and above were chased out of those waters by these minature mutant pollacks...

RickBomba - what Gates? I've never seen no stinkin' gates at the Watertown run... We're pretty much done on herring anyway and it's time to switch over to the season's mainstay of plugs and eels... unless you get frozen or fresh bait from a B&T
