I love my Sports Mags.
I own 2. I've not used a finer casting reel, almost backlash proof.

Mike,
Those prices( for the SportsMag) are excellent
The 2 I used all last year cost me considerably more as they were not available in the USA. I bought 1 from England and the other from Sweden.
These are World CLASS reels!

hijacking time!!
ok,,first off,,,,this is a thread hijacking,,kinda..but i am kinda desperate for this one peice of info....what are some of the rods that ya'll use with these reels. i've been searching high and low, and the only pole that i have found was a 9' fenwick saltstick...and more ideas?? thank you

thank you mike for the info...and now without trying to sound like a cheapo 'bout how much does a custom rod tend to run?? $$ and any suggestions about who to contact? I have seen them over at Bucko's in fal reev...was just looking at different options.
