I am back!!

Hey guys!!
I am home from California, Had a great time and even found time to do some talking about fish at the Santa Monica Peir. They catch Herrin (not like ares) and then they fish for halibut off the peir. I saw a guy with a 6# he had caught. They say with about 100 guys fishing ther they might fet 4 or 5 a day and thats a good day!!
They say there is really no fish north of San Diego.
They have freash water hybriad Stripers in the Castaic lake that get to 5 # a few bigger but most 5 #. But do catch huge freash water Bass!!
There is no shell fishing of any kind and they all say how lucky we are tolive here and have the fishing we have!! The would all be glad to have a short season that we have verus the long season with nothing that they have!!
Well Just wante to say Hi !! I have a lot of reading to do to catch up.

Did you tell them bout the snow we put up with. No matter where you go someones got something better. I'm glad we've got good fishing. But the Snow the Snow can't we get rid of the snow?
