I signed up for the $500 coverage plus I got another additional $500 from my insurance company (no charge - built into the rate).

I have to believe that $1000 per incident should be good...right?

I rarely will be going out beyond a few miles. Maybe once in a while taking a trip to Jeffries from Newburyport.

I've heard that the Sea Tow prices are HIGH.

Not sure exactly what the costs are, but my buddy said he paid like $150 for it and the tow in from Lucas Shoals to Woods Hole in the middle of the night would have been $575 without it. The Cutty Hunk Sea-Tow captain is a hell of a boat handler.

I'd have to be homeless and broke to not have two pieces of insurance every year; SeaTow and AAA.
