Weekend Weather

If the weather man is right (if), it looks like Saturday will have 20-25 knot Northwest winds and seas 2-4 feet up where I usually launch (Merrimack River). I was hoping to go out and get some more macks. EaSt wind was horrible last Saturday. Made the day ugly. Is a northwest wind less severe since the wind is coming from over the land and the seas have less time/distance to build. I'm thinking that closer to shore (1-3 miles out), conditions might not be that bad. Any opinions? Anyone else going out Saturday?

best source for weather forcast.

get yourself a "weather rock", put it on the porch.
if it's wet, its raining.
if its dry, its not.
if it's dark, it's cloudy.
if it's bright, it's sunny.

beats the heck out of listening to "the weather psycics" on the tube, more accurate too.

Anyone go out today between the Isles of Shoals and Gloucester? I decided to call off my fishing trip but was wondering how the weather turned out. Should I have still gone out?

Windy AM

Pulled out of Cohasset and found 15kt winds and 3-4' chop making it a wet ride.

Were going to head down to Sictiaute for som Mac's that I hears were down there but I hooked a U turn and tried some Tube and Worm in the lee of the wind with no luck.
