Yep Eben. Most likely.

I think the problem may lie in a "Conservatives" interpretation of the way things work:

It's seems to be a mortal sin to be associated AT ALL with Americans known as "Liberals".

The same can be said for the hard lined leftist who HATES the sight of a "Conservative".

If people were more objective we might have a chance of seeing a headline in 2035.

Liberals gotta eat too.

In my humble, "Non-partisan" opinion.

Man that is funny KL

That's why I posted it beach. I don't like the ultra left or right. I personally am a conservative and believe we all need to take personal responsibility for our actions. That being said I do not have a problem with liberals, they have some good ideas to.

Yep thats the key.

I had just woken up when I wrote that post and what I was trying ot get at was not so much aimed at conservatives, but extreme neo-conservatives, or whatever people call them..

Me, I'm not a liberal, i'm just right in the middle and am concerned that things are shifting a bit off balance these days.

It was funny though-

i wonder if spotted owels taste as good as plovers-

Constitutionally speaking....

It would be interesting if someone examined the constitution and writings from that time to get an acurate definition of the words used "at that time".

Then, using todays vocabulary and definitions to write an updated version (no, not a re-write) to help people understand. The goal to ensure that the meaning is carried through intact.

One problem that I see today is that people ignore that the meanings of words has changed over the years yet when they look to the constitution and other old legal decisions they do not take into account that while the words have remained the same, the definitions have changed dramaticaly.

One glaring example is the party views of the Democrat vs. Republican.

I recall during highschool learning that the Democrats of today are more closely aligned with the political views of the old Republican party. Today, 20 years later, I hear more and more that the Republican party is taking views that were more recently the views of the Democratic party.

Could it be that we have finally come full circle and the parties have returned to their origins?

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.
