Yup! Here goes.......
will hit rock bottom....unless of course they can pull off getting the Big Unit in a trade from Arizona......can you imagine that "three-headed monster" of a pitching staff in the second half going down the stretch? Make that deal, and this can read......the Sox finish the second half 65 and 27 having added Randy Johnson to their pitching staff just after the All-Star Break! Martinez, Schilling and Johnson went a combined 36 and 4 in the second half. Sox go into the playoffs against the wild-card Yankees having taken the Eastern Division by an overwhelming 15 games!


So how did I do?

will lose out on the unit sweepstakes and end up a distant third in the division beeing overtaken by the surging devil rays one week before the season ends :P
pedro walks away and signs with new york who also sign unit to an extension :P nomah walks away(good thing?)

Look for Bill Lee's new book about the history of the Sox. I think he has them winning a few world series in the 70s and 80s
