that reminds me of the time a huge tarpon knocked a surfer unconcious a few years back.

When I caught my first bass I was hooked more than the fish.

Saw a clip on Real TV where a wife was filming her husband reel in a 500 lb blue marlin. Once the mate grabbed the leader the marlin lunged out of the water and stabbed the wife in the chest with it's bill punctoring her lung. She survived but, it looked like the marlin intentionally lunged towards her.

did anyone else see the story....I think it was in the Mississippi of those carp that hate the sounds of boat motors?


It is really common to have these huge carp jump into moving boats.

Several people had been injured by the carps hitting them.

It was in the news, and I think posted to this site about a year ago.
