glass eels
Saw a bunch of glass eels up here in nh last night which is weird because i never saw them in mass this year just peanut bunker. no fish crashin them tho. did anyone see the glass eels in mass?

these are different eels also known as elvers. some years i see them some years i don't depends on the storms i think. its just odd that i saw them in nh and not mass.

There is - or at least used to be - a big Asian market for live elvers.
The esteemed Irish marine biologist Professor O'Nitis tells me it's because glass eels can be taught to eat fish pellets whereas adults cannot.
Eel aquaculture - there's an intriguing concept - especially given the price of them lately. Too bad you can't get 'em to breed too.
God knows I've tried - you know, pour a little wine into my eel tank for 'em, a little soft romantic music......no luck yet.

HA! one of teh beautiful thngs about having a breast feeding child is that Mrs Eben is the milk machine!... last night i slept from 11 pm till 9:30 a.m.
ahh life is good.... and dont tell her, but I've hidden the breast pump behind the couch... she'll never find it
