the cat got out

freaking cat thinks it's an outdoor cat now. The wife says to me after dinner "where's Oscar?...I saw a cat that looked just like him in the garden next door."....uuuuhhhh DUH he mustah got out I say.We look for him for three hours walking up and down the streets...no go...I'm thinking he's gone for good...really bummin out....then I look again out in the back yard and see him run right by me...the little basterd is messin with us!!!! The wife gets him close with some treats, grabs him...then he looses it and books from her grip...well he is hiding now,not sure what to do, he has no front claws so he can't fight, hope the little rat comes in....I left the cellar open (method of escape)

CS, I'll have to let you borrow Bailey... remember I told you, she thinks she is a cat... she hangs out with the neighbors 2 cats, and I think they have taught her well... she's taken to mousing in the woods behind my tool shed... grosses the wife out, 'cause she leaves the bodies on the slider steps.....

No more mice living in my shed though

See if I can get you the tiger cat next door.... he got a chipmunk the other day nailed him deader than a doornail, fast and sneaky, he is.

Wouldn't worry bout your critter. Had an old red cat with no front claws, and he was the king of the block. I sweat he could box...
Lived to be almost 18 years, and was an outsider 85% of the time. They get along pretty good....and believe it or not can still climb....

coyotes will like the kitty a lot - esp w/ no claws.

We keep our damn cats inside and take them out for a walk now and then since one is awefully fat and the others getting a little heavy as well. They play in the garage and chase each other around inside, but the normal cat food and minimal excercise is gonna do the furry bastids in fast. My wife takes care of the cats - I'm waiting for one to get out and then its open season on it.

We have plenty of coyotes around and a couple of weeks ago saw a gray fox under the bird feeder (snacking on sunflower hearts) - just read that the GFox can CLIMB trees?! Wow - never knew that.
