Block Island October 3 Standby For The Ferry

I was one of the guys sitting in the standby lane for the Ferry back to Point Judith on October 3. We were driving the Toyota Truck.
Im just looking to get the screen names of some of the guys that were out there from September 30 through October 3.
I wanted to check out that thread regarding the contents of a 38 pounder but cant seem to find it. Is it posted yet?
Thanks for all the info Bob & Tony. Im gonna switch to some braided line asap.

Hope to hear from somebody.

Dan

Related Question...

If you're on foot (i.e. no car), does it really matter which ferry you take? Is either one more 10' surf rod friendly

i wouldn't dare do that place w/out a vehicle. the beach walking/hill climbing is bad enough.

jeepskatman, mmmmmmmmm those Sam October fests looked mighty good good choice. I would be the older gray/white bearded one, a more rounded and civilized gent than those young black hearts you spoke with. Welcome aboard and hope you like the surroundings.
