Drag One

We're talkin deer here not reels.

Its that time again, how time flys. Hope to see some nice pics of bucks and does. Good luck and hunt safe. Wear your safty belt!

Thought I'ld share a couple different ways to drag your kill, not everyone has 4x4.....Mike Greg

This is how I drag mine. This is if you have a deer that you do not wish to mount. First insert your nife under the deers jaw bone so that you have a hole that goes under the chin and out the mouth. feed your rope through. Make a slipknot and tighten it so that both front hoves are together, take your rope and pull, take the other end and form a loop to grab. What this does is it keeps the legs from getting in the way, your deer will glide with ease....you'll see. the other way which is also very good is to have a sled (like a kids sled) this is actually better the sled will glid threw the woods. Good Luck

I was with C-Ratt last year, and his way is similar to yours. He makes a loop in the rope, takes the front legs and swings them up over the deers head. Loop goes around both legs, and neck tighten down, and away we go...
